Court Etiquette

Court etiquette is in place to ensure the enjoyment of all players at the AFTC. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and enjoy your game!

  1. Check in and pay your court fee before entering the court area.
  2. Enter the courts area through the door in the front lobby.
  3. Please wear indoor shoes, preferably with non-marking soles.
  4. If your court is occupied, you may make your way to your court 2 minutes prior to your scheduled court time. Please wait for the players to finish before walking on court.
  5. If your court is not occupied, you may access the court up to 10 minutes prior to your court time.
  6. Foul language, loud shouting and screaming will not be tolerated.
  7. Abuse of rackets, balls, other equipment or property will not be tolerated.
  8. Please wait for play to stop before asking to have your ball returned from another court. Ensure play has stopped before returning a ball to another court.
  9. Please keep the courts clean by picking up all balls and throwing away any garbage, including ball cans and lids.
  10. No chewing gum, food or drinks (other than water and sports drinks) are permitted on court.
