What is a Player Card?

Everyone is welcome to book and play at the AFTC, there is no membership required to play. If you would like to ensure you get a court on the day and time you want, then the player cars is for you.

Overview

With the ever-increasing popularity in tennis over the past few years we continually strive to improve our services to the many current supporters and newcomers to the Abony Family Tennis Center. By providing more streamlined policies and procedures we believe the AFTC will become increasingly sustainable and help us deliver our core values of accessible and affordable play to all ages and levels.

Player Card Benefits

2 days advance booking
Booking by phone-in or in-person only

2 days in advance ball machine booking

All player cards are valid from September 12th - May 31st. Any card purchases after September 13th the cost will be prorated.
Player cards can be purchased online or in person at the customer service desk from September 13th.

Court rental and Ball machine fees

Court fee is per hour. Fee divided by 2-4 players
To rent the Ball machine the price will be the applicable court fee + $10 per hour for the use of the Machine.

Junior rate

The following applies to any Junior registered in a Junior program

To rent the Ball machine the price will be the applicable court fee + $10 per hour for the use of the Machine.

Family rate

We encourage families to com,e out and enjoy some family time at the center. We provide modified balls, rackets and a mini net. Families will have a 2 days advance booking.
This applies on the following dates and times:

Friday - Sunday 4:30 - 8:00 PM
$15 per hour, per family

Please note on Statutory holidays if courts are available the same rate will apply.

Out of town players

Players traveling from out of town, for example, St Andrews, Sussex, St John will be allowed to book 7 days in advance. Non-player card court fee will apply unless you have a player card.

Services

We sell balls, grips and other tennis accessories.
We are able to special order rackets from most racket suppliers.
We string rackets with the latest electric stringing machine.
We sell refreshments and are licensed.
