Our new revamped academy programs will allow players to develop their skills to to become better athletes and tennis players. We will be Incorporating our “move like and athlete” curriculum delivered by  Fabian Clavejo who has a Doctorate in Sport Science and Physical Literacy. Players in the academy program are expected to participate in our Future Stars and other local fun, yet competitive events. 
Thought the season we will have a variety of topics presented related to self management, physical and wellness awareness.

Red Ball Future Stars

Age 5-7
Red Ball Future Stars is intended for players who have an enjoyment of sport, and want to develop a strong foundation, and a real desire to play and to improve their skills. The key outcome is developing an athlete first and then the tennis player. There is a strong focus on developing coordination skills, physical literacy skills and understanding, how to control the racket and ball through, rhythm, timing, touch, feel and sound. There ar 24 spots open for this program. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Please note this program is subsidized by the AFTC.

Orange Ball Senior Academy

Age 6-8
Graduating from the Red Ball Academy or entering this program for the first time, this program is intended for players who already posses a very strong foundation of technique and tactical knowledge, and the genuine desire to continue to improve and test their skills.
You will be developing advanced reception and projection skills; seeing what the ball is doing when your receive it and how to project an effective ball to your opponents. You will develop advanced technique, understanding strategy and developing a reliable serve.

​This is a critical stage before the junior/senior academy. Players have shown a commitment to tennis  and have a passion for the sport and a strong desire to compete. Developing their strengths, creating a weapon, and understanding the finer details of constructing a point are covered in this program.

10 years plus
 Players who are in the current green ball academy will transition into playing with regular tennis balls. Focus will be on movement and making technical adjustments to be able to manage playing with a regular ball.

Senior Competitive Academy

Players by now have a solid understanding of all the necessary components to be a competitive player. Players 12 years plus have developed their own game style and are able to identify strengths and weaknesses in their opponents. Players will compete at provincial tournaments and aspire to qualify for Canada Games and Nationals.
